Industry event: Recruitment & Culture – Best Practice Inclusive HR

What? In this hands-on workshop Dr Vanda Papafilippou will identify what can be changed in order to reduce bias in our HR practices and give tips about how Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) can be applied in practice.

In this session participants will:

  • Review and reflect on their HR practices (step by step) guided by Dr Papafilippou
  • Share experiences (is there anything that can be improved?), unpack challenges and share good practice
  • Start working towards revising their HR practices so that they become more transparent and inclusive

The session will be mostly discussion-based with some short ‘theory shots’. Participants should come prepared with some examples of: job descriptions, job advertisements, examples of Performance Development Review policies and forms from their own company.

Who’s it for? Aimed at decision makers/ senior managers in creative SMEs in the West of England.
