I’m a digital illustrator, painter, performance artist and actor who tells stories around identity, mental health and forgotten voices. I believe in working through trauma with art.
Through Creative Workforce for the Future I have been embedded in an amazing peer network that have greatly inspired me professionally and supported me personally. I’ve gained confidence in my craft and in myself. I’ve also gained a wider understanding of what the creative industries can offer me and what I can offer them.
As a black woman, I’m constantly told by society I am not worthy enough for my voice to be heard. It’s finally our turn to contribute – that feels so powerful!
