Industry Event: Inclusion and Your Organisation
February 11 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
What? No matter the size of your organisation or what stage its at, diversity of thought, cultures and talent matters. Following the fall of the Colston statue, BLM and the Pandemic, now more than ever shareholders, customers and staff are demanding change. In spite of the growing demands Bristol’s Creative sector, to date has struggled to reflect the richness of Bristols diversity across its workforce, senior leadership teams and boardrooms.
So with the help of 3 ED&I experts with lived experience as creative business founders, change leaders and board members this workshop will create a safe space to explore the challenges, pitfalls, opportunities and solutions an organisation may face on its journey to embracing diversity across its workforce and senior leadership teams.
Aimed at anyone and everyone who leads on or cares about ED&I. This workshop covers:
- If you’re an organisation wanting to accelerate diversity at a senior level, how do you start, what’s your destination, and a framework for achieving this?
- What do you need to do as an organisation to be ready to recruit someone from an under-represented group onto your senior team or board?
- Peer-to-peer examples, ideas & resources on how to create a framework.
Delivered by BeOnBoard, participants are asked to come prepared with specific questions and challenges that you currently face around diversifying your organisation and its leadership.
Following the workshop BeOnBoard are also offering 8 x individual coaching sessions (on a first come first serve basis). These are a great opportunity to talk about your specific ambitions and challenges and to help you shape your approach to diverse leadership in your organisation. These coaching sessions are a good follow up to the workshop, but participants don’t have to come to the workshop to book one.
Who’s it for? Aimed at decision makers/ senior managers in creative SMEs in the West of England. This could include business founders, CEO’s, senior management teams, HR, Talent & CSR professionals as well as Boardroom Directors or Trustees.
If you are interested in signing up for this workshop and taking part in the Creative Workforce for the Future programme, please e-mail: email@example.com
Note: This session was previously titled The Case For Accelerating Boardroom Diversity in A Crisis, but following discussion with participants we’ve reworked the session to look broader at diversity across the workforce and leadership team.
